The Historic town of Murcia dates back to the Carthaginians, with a beautiful Cathedral and impressive architecture.
A redeveloped port and marina located next to the bustling old town of "Casco Viejo" has plenty of shops, cafe's and sightseeing tours via boat or bus, you could also take a trip to the local museums and art galleries.
The fantastic markets are open everyday of the week offering souvenirs, art and crafts and the local delicacy. The markets are a great trip for those of you who like a good barter!
